The Enemies on the Road.

Text: Ezra 8:22-23.

For I was ashamed to request of the king an escort of soldiers and horsemen to help us against the enemy on the road, because we had spoken to the king, saying, “The hand of our God is upon all those for good who seek Him, but His power and His wrath are against all those who forsake Him.” So we fasted and entreated our God for this, and He answered our prayer.

Ezra 8:22‭-‬23 NKJV

1. Pray that you will not be quick to seek divine answers from mortal men on your road of pursuit.

2. Pray that the Hand of God will intervene with tremendous power in your favour through your devotion to prayer and fasting.

3. Pray that the Hand of God will prevail in power and wrath against the enemies of your loved ones.

4. Pray that the Hand of God will grant victory over the enemies who are on the road of progress of your local church.

5. Pray that the wrath of God will not be kindled against your nation but that the people will increasingly seek God through prayer.
