Selected and Set Apart

Text: Judges 7:5-6 NKJV

[5] So he brought the people down to the water. And the Lord said to Gideon, “Everyone who laps from the water with his tongue, as a dog laps, you shall set apart by himself; likewise everyone who gets down on his knees to drink.” [6] And the number of those who lapped, putting their hand to their mouth, was three hundred men; but all the rest of the people got down on their knees to drink water.
Judges 7:5-6 NKJV

1. Pray that your thirst and desire to please God will overshadow your fleshy desires

2. Pray that you will be set apart for divine assignment as you refuse to kneel to your uncontrolled passion.

3. Pray that your loved ones will meet the selection criteria of God.

4. Pray that your local church will not win with just numbers, but people who can control their desires.

5. Pray that by their ability to master their emotions and appetite, the believers in your nation will stand out.
