Mature Counsel

Text: 1 Kings 12:8-9.

But he forsook the counsel of the old men, which they had given him, and consulted with the young men that were grown up with him, and which stood before him: And he said unto them, What counsel give ye that we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke which thy father did put upon us lighter?

1 Kings 12:8‭-‬9 KJV

1. Pray that you will seek and relay on mature counsel.

2. Pray that through mature counsel you will not only ease your burden in life and ministry but that of others also.

3. Pray that your loved ones will be careful who they seek counsel from concerning their decisions in life.

4. Pray that the leadership of your local church will always seek mature counsel concerning the welfare of the church.

5. Pray that the leaders of your nation will seek and make decision based on mature counsel in such burdensome times.
