Answering Enemies of Rebuilding
Text: Nehemiah 4:1-2.
“But it so happened, when Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, that he was furious and very indignant, and mocked the Jews. And he spoke before his brethren and the army of Samaria, and said, “What are these feeble Jews doing? Will they fortify themselves? Will they offer sacrifices? Will they complete it in a day? Will they revive the stones from the heaps of rubbish— stones that are burned?””
Nehemiah 4:1-2 NKJV
1. Pray that you will overcome the indignation, anger and mockery of your enemies.
2. Pray that you will not succumb to the discouraging and demeaning questions that your enemies may pose about your ability and inabilities.
3. Pray that your loved ones will rebuild even from what is classified as rubbish against the desire and expectation of their enemies.
4. Pray that your local church members will not be an army of mockers and enemies of God’s rebuilding agenda for the church.
5. Pray that the wealth and welfare your city and country will be rebuilt at an accelerated speed.
